Custom Acid Staining
Acid staining is a process in which mineral salts are deposited into
concrete to produce a permanent natural color.
Scofield Acid is the company that
produces a mild acid enriched with extra mineral salts used in the process.
A variety of colors can be used in each design to stain your whole floor.
The type of design is only limited by your imagination.
Any stained glass pattern, quilt patterns, or other patterns and designs can be
used.
Acid staining can also be used to create
custom natural art in furniture such as table tops, wall art, and custom
countertops. The non-shrink grout we use as an inlay will react with the
acid and accept the coloration to enhance the detail of the design.
I am the only one who uses this process to create this form of original art.
